Cheyenne & HH Promotions Country Music Weekend

Late Valentines Festival February 2020

We were back in the Main Ballroom, well mostly as we moved downstairs for the Sunday morning teach session and afternoons entertainment with the brilliant Warren Dewitt, but the party atmosphere was sooo good nobody worried!

This was another brilliant Cheyenne Promotions weekend. Festival guests arrived on Friday and the event kicked off at 1pm with the first teach session running from 1 o'clock to 3 o'clock when our guests could check in. Over the weekend we were entertained by no less than nine (yes thats 9) live acts and all were so good it would be unfair to single any one out. We enjoyed three mixed line and partner workshops and danced and laughed each afternoon and evening until well past midnight! If you weren't dancing the innovation at this weekend was the video walls either side of the stage with live video of the dancers and artists or the music we were dancing to. Hugely entertaining and beneficial change.

The weekend is an opportunity to share so many lovely and very friendly people, old friends and new. We say it so often following Cheyennes Promotion Festivals that Ky, Ray (Double H) and all those who help (Cliff Weston, Anna Scholfield, Maureen, Phil to single out but a few) set up an environment but it is the people who attend that make this festival so special. We have returning visitors from France and Germany, it was wonderful to see them all again. So many returning friends from around the UK that keep this festival so special, and this time is was so nice to see many new faces some returning we were back in the main ballroom and some visiting for the first time. I spoke to many who have already booked for June(5th-8th). I for one am already looking forward to it!

Our DJ, Line dance instructer and emcee for the weekend was the wonderful Cheryl Jayne Carter who kept the floor full and everyone well informed.
