Our artist for tonight left his home early this morning and 10 hours later arrived at the club in Horley, he was set up and ready to go with plenty of time to spare so when start time rolled round compare TONY brought on stage PETER SHAW and he brought along "Billy B Bad" who said "I Just Want My Baby Back" also we were all told "Talk Is Cheap". Next up was a tribute to the late Glen Campbell as Peter sang "Rhinestone Cowboy" then along came a bit of "Vertical Expression" then off we went to "Places" to be a bit "Closer" because "Your The One That I Want". Peter also sang and played "Baby I'm Right" and closed with "Just To See You Smile".

TONY during the break went round selling RAFFLE TICKETS with this done and dusted time to put on the compare hat to bring back on stage PETER who got things moving with "Here Comes My Baby" and "I Just Wanna Dance With You" then he asked "Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed", things were kept on the right track with the Derek Ryan number "Old And Grey". PETER then said "Same Thing Happened To Me" and brought along the "Gipsy Queen" as well as the "King Of The Road" who both said "Heaven In My Woman's Eyes" because they were under the "Neon Moon" and it was "That's How I Got To Memphis" was the number that closed the spot.

It was then time for the "RAFFLE DRAW during the break this done by TONY along with MARTIN once this was done it was time for TONY to do the "WHAT's on LIST" for the Clubs in the area then it was time for him for the final time tonight to bring PETER who started with "Loving All Night" and moved onto "This Is Me Missing You" on with "You Don't Have To Love Me Anymore" it was then onto the Sam Outlaw number "I'm Gonna Love Her For A While" then it was "Take It Easy" then off to sit under the "Big Blue Tree" which was down "Louisiana Way which is "Where The Corn Don't Grow" we then all went "Missing" and it was the up tempo number "Seven Nights To Rock" that closed the show by the shouts for more that rang round the hall it was clear the compare Tony would have to ask for one for the road and PETER obliged with "Thank God For The Radio", PETER had put on a great night of LIVE COUNTRY MUSIC, at short notice as the artist booked for tonight was unable to come, after a long journey down he put on as I said before a great night and it was also good to see Peter with two Guitars on stage and he is a very good Guitar Picker which is always great to see, he has an a great voice different in many ways and sings and play's in a style of his own.

TONY and JILL along with their "HELPERS" make all very welcome and all seem to really enjoy their night at the COLORADO C.M.C. and on SEPTEMBER 22nd they have DANIEL BERRY to entertain please ring TONY on 01342 892381 to book your seats.
